Dr Lars Åhrell

After the academic career Lars spent more than 20 years in different line management positions. There after he spent more than 10 years in venture capital. He is now working as an independent advisor/non-executive director and has served on more than 30 boards of private and public companies. He has gained direct and indirect experience from almost all business sectors.

His experience ranges from SMEs to large multi national companies.

From a functional point of view, he has been involved in growth and development as well as turn-around and restructuring. Selling, business-development, strategy, organisational structure, international growth, and corporate finance are well proven areas of his skills.

Geographically his main business experience is in the UK, the Nordic Countries, France, the rest of Europe and the US. He has developed an excellent business network through these experiences.

He has negotiated and concluded more than 30 M/A transactions and also successfully led and concluded business litigation in UK, US and the Nordic countries.
